As the year has progressed, it has been amazing to see the Tuta team grow. Five new team members joined us in the beginning of the year, with an additional three now. And we aren’t stopping just yet: there are going to be more privacy experts that applied to our open positions join us towards the end of the year!
With an ever growing team of dedicated professionals, Tuta has been able to reach some amazing goals and milestones in 2024 alone. From the release of the world’s first post-quantum encryption for email, to Tuta’s new look with a fresh re-branding, to more exciting updates already in the works like major improvements to the mobile apps, email import and more. None of these major achievements would have been possible without you – our loyal customers, and of course, our team of privacy experts. Personal introduction: Working at Tuta is a fresh breeze! Every email and event is mathematically encrypted, so no one (including us at Tuta) will be able to get hands on any data, even my data in my private mailbox is protected from my colleagues working here. At Tuta, I am helping the team build a product, that’s convenient and private. Just like how everything should have been from the start!
Another great thing about joining the Tuta team is that I get to work with very open minded people, who always try to see best in the people they talk to.

Personal introduction: In my opinion, the fact that companies have access to so much data about us to a point where they can predict or infer so many things about ourselves, sometimes even before we realize it, is very concerning, not to say scary and dystopian.
Tuta works hard to avoid this, and to change this reality – a reality where we don’t truly own our data and privacy is something we were conditioned not to care about. I’m glad to to be a part of this and help bring user-friendly, secure, and privacy-oriented services to everyone.
