Old Town of Munich

We love Hannover, and Munich! ❤️

Since developing our first prototype in 2011, we enjoy working together in our office in Hannover. Over the last thirteen years our office in Hannover has been the source for all our developments. From the first launch of Tuta (previously known as Tutanota) in 2014, all the way to our most recent addition, the quantum-safe encryption protocol Tuta-Crypt.

In addition to our existing office location in Hannover, we are now setting up a new location in Munich, that focuses on taking our secure backend to whole new level! Establishing this new office location enables us to continue adding amazing team members with distinct experience and location preference. Munich is an excellent second location for us, not only hosting one of the best technical university of Germany, with the TUM (Technical University Munich), but more importantly missing companies that simply put privacy first. Therefore, we are thrilled to open our second office location in this beautiful city, and finally Turn ON Privacy in Munich!

Welcome to Munich!

Turn ON Privacy in Munich

Munich, sometimes called “The Village of One Million”, is located close to the beautiful Bavarian Alps in southern Germany. Being in fact the third largest city in Germany, Munich has a lot to offer. From cozy beer gardens, good restaurants, and nice parks and lakes, all the way to theaters, great architecture, vibrant nightlife locations, and various sports activities. Leaving the city in the south opens the door to a wide range of beautiful mountaineering and natural activities.

Join us at our new office location in Munich!
