New week, new features!
In February, Tuta Mail and Tuta Calendar became available as add-ons in Thunderbird, and our team rolled out the highly requested Schedule Send feature for emails, and our development teams are not stopping there. Just last week we started rolling out our new and improved spam filtering for all Tuta Mail users. Now, we’re excited for you to make use of Undo Send in your mailbox and Pending Invitations in Calendar.
Made a mistake? Click Undo Send
Undo Send is a new optional feature in Tuta Mail.
Clicking send and then realizing you made a mistake while writing an email happens to all of us! Luckily, Tuta has a solution for this now. With the new Undo Send feature available for all Tuta Mail users, you can undo the sending of an email.
What is Undo Send? Undo Send adds a 10 second delay to the sending of an email. This means that when you click send, you have up to 10 seconds to undo the sending and edit the email before it actually sends to the recipient.
Undo send is an optional feature that can be activated or deactivated in you mailbox settings.
Try out Undo Send now under Settings > Email > Undo Send > Activate
Pending Invitations in Tuta Calendar
Pending Invitations in Tuta Calendar make it easier to see which event invitations you still need to respond to.
With the roll out of Pending Invitations in Tuta Calendar, when a trusted contact sends you an event invite, it now also appears in your calendar – but with a distinct lighter color so that you can easily distinguish the unanswered event. This new feature is great for anyone with a busy schedule, for example, families who use Tuta as their private family calendar because it allows you to plan and coordinate faster and more conveniently.
Pending Invitations in the Tuta Calendar help you see the date and time of the suggested event invitation, and it ensures you don’t forget to respond to your calendar invitations. Once you’ve responded to the invitation, for example, accepted it, it then appears as a normal event in your encrypted calendar.
