Quick actions from email notifications

One of our top updates for the email app is the introduction of actions on email notifications. With just a tap, you can now easily delete emails or mark them as read right from the email preview - no need to open the app and load the mailbox at all!

This feature helps you manage your inbox more efficiently, especially when you’re on the go.

This update follows our release of email previews on Android and iOS. These previews are shown securely on your phone, making sure that Apple or Google can not read of scan any of your data. Because at Tuta, your privacy comes first, always!

Calendar now displays birthdays

We’ve made some exciting enhancements to the Tuta Calendar as well, focusing on making your experience with birthdays more delightful. You are now able to:

• View Birthdays of Contacts: Keep track of special days with the new feature to view birthdays of your contacts right in your calendar (available in all paid plans).

• Contact Previews for Birthday Events: Now you can easily see how to best contact the person celebrating their birthday by opening a contact preview directly from the calendar event.

• Search Functionality: Finding birthday events has never been easier with our new search capability to specifically look for birthdays.

• Improved Birthday Calendar Events: We’ve fine-tuned how birthday events are displayed, making them more user-friendly.

These updates not only help you stay organized but also ensure you never miss a chance to celebrate with friends and family!

Dark icons on iOS

You can now choose a dark and light color for Tuta apps. On iOS, you can also tint them to your liking.

We’re excited to introduce new app icon colors on iOS designed specifically for dark mode, enhancing your experience while using Tuta Mail and Tuta Calendar at any time of day. These Tuta app icons not only provide a sleek, modern look but also ensure optimal visibility and usability in low-light environments.

In addition to that, we have improved our dark mode colors for better contrast and visibility.

Additionally, with the latest iOS update, iOS, 18, users can now enjoy a tinted option for their app icons, allowing for further customization and personalization.

Import vCard contacts on mobile

For our mobile users, we’ve listened to your requests! You can now import vCard contacts directly on both Android and iOS apps. This makes it simple to bring your contacts into Tuta Mail, ensuring you have everything you need right at your fingertips.
