Aliases in shared mailboxes
When using shared mailboxes, you can now change the sender address and choose which alias email to send the email from.
When using a shared a mailbox, there are many cases when you will need to change the sender address and use a different email alias. For example, if your organization has a support team that supports clients via email, it’s likely that there will be different alias addresses used to answer the different types of requests you receive. As a way to improve your team’s workflows and usability in shared mailboxes, you can now choose which alias address to send the email from.
Tuta’s shared mailboxes with aliases are available in all Tuta Business plans.
Collapsible shared mailboxes
Your primary mailbox as well as any shared mailboxes can now be expanded or minimized depending on which one you’d like to focus on.
Each user or employee has their own mailbox, and within this, they can have access to shared mailboxes - given the company administrator has given them access rights. Now, mailboxes are collapsible allowing you to choose which mailbox - be it your own or a shared one - you’d like to view without any extra clutter.
Coming soon
In the next couple of months, inbox rules are also coming to shared mailboxes, which will be especially helpful if you have multiple aliases. This is one new feature among many others that we have planned to help boost your businesses’ communications and productivity.
