Coming Soon

Improved Calendar Repeat Rules

Improved and more specific rules for repeating calendar events. Improved and more specific rules for repeating calendar events.

The Tuta Calendar will soon see some nice improvements for creating rules for repeating events and more specific rules for imported events.

We recently released a new and improved event creation flow for Tuta Calendar, this marked a significant improvement in event creation and ease of use! Now, our Calendar Team has been focusing on rules for repeating events. Soon, users can expect better rules for repeating events and improved specific rules for imported events in the Tuta Calendar!

Better email organization

In the upcoming weeks, you will also see a neat improvement in your mailbox! Tuta Mail recently got labels, and now users will soon get to experience another organizational improvement for your emails. You will have the option to group emails by conversation, no matter the device or OS you use. This new improvement makes your mailbox look cleaner, less cluttered and, it’s a nice email organization upgrade.

Feature parity

At Tuta, we pay special attention to feature parity: We want all apps, for Android, iPhone, web, Linux, Windows, and macOS, to have exactly the same features. For some features – like import and export – this can not easily be done as it needs deeper integration with the operating system. That’s why these features are only available on our free desktop clients for Linux, Windows, and macOS. But all other features, say labels or improved conversation view, are always available on all apps from day 1 after the release – or, if Apple or F-Droid take their time – day 3. 😉

In any case, we want all our apps to have the same look and feel, and to come with all the convenient features you are asking for shortly after the release.

Continuously fighting for your privacy

Big Tech wants to see you naked. Stop them now. Big Tech wants to see you naked. Stop them now.

At Tuta, we also fight for your privacy through our privacy activism efforts and educating about the importance of encryption. Have you seen our latest clip, Big Tech Wants To See You Naked?

2024 was the year of growth for Tuta, and we can confidently say that now, in 2025, we are continuing to develop not only the most secure end-to-end encrypted products for you, but also focusing on giving you a better user experience and new features to make using our products easier!

While we continue to develop the best secure email and calendar, at Tuta we also focus on actively fighting for your privacy. Sure, we provide email and calendar, but in order for you to keep using them, we have to actively oppose threats to encryption like the EU Commissions push for Chat Control and the UK’s demand to undermine Apple’s encryption.

We continue to spread privacy and the importance of end-to-end encryption through educational blog posts, guides, and other forms of content. Most recently on Data Privacy Day we released our latest video, Big Tech Wants To See You Naked – do check it out!

Together we CAN make the web a better place! 💪 ❤️
